McClellan Lessons for Week of 12/12/11

Exploratory classes are completing a painting assignment.  By mid-week, they will start to explore printmaking by practicing proper use of the tools and equipment needed for linocuts.  They will create a design to be used for their linocut.

Art I classes are continuing with a sculpture of the human figure.  They are starting with a coat hanger, adding foil and paper mache, and then finishing up with plaster gauze.

Art II class is continuing to use their knowledge of watercolor techniques by painting a self-portrait.
