The West Briar Middle School Library serves approximately 1,360 students and is part of the Houston Independent School District.  The library houses approximately 23,800 books and materials.  It is fully automated with the Alexandria software system used for circulation and catalog use.  It also has 8 workstations for the library catalog and Internet use, and an additional 16 computers for Internet use.  In addition, the library has numerous tables and chairs used for reading, doing homework, and studying, and rocking chairs for reading and relaxing.
