West Briar Middle School Dress Code

2009-2010

To ensure a safe and effective learning environment for all students, West Briar Middle School has a standard mode of dress, which is to be followed by all students.

All clothing items are to be the appropriate size. Baggy, over-sized, and too-tight clothing will not be permitted. Any student whose appearance disrupts the educational environment will be corrected. Clothing should cover all areas from the shoulders to 4” above the knees at all times and in all natural movements. The Administrative Staff will decide if a student's appearance meets the West Briar Dress Code. All decisions will be final.

Students who are in violation of the dress code will either be asked to change into appropriate attire or may be placed in the Student Assignment Center. Parents may be asked to bring appropriate attire for their student. Clothing that is inappropriate may be confiscated and would be returned on the last day of the semester. After one week, items will be donated to Goodwill.
