PRE-AP
Pre-Advanced Placement (Pre-AP): instruction addresses the grade-level learning objectives
along with additional skill sets and strategies designed to help students acquire analytical thinking
and communication skills necessary for success in Advanced Placement (AP) courses in high
school. The pacing is accelerated in Pre-AP classes so that students will be prepared to take high
school courses in eighth grade. Teachers receive on-going professional development to ensure successful implementation of this College Board program.
